In Memory of Lyle 'Hobie' Hobart

While vacationing in Hawaii Hobie unexpectedly passed away from heart complications. His family was at his side. Hobie started the Hi-Landers in 1968 and the club has been his passion since day one. He loved 4-wheeling and all the many friends and adventures along the way.

In Memory of Gerald Hicks
He passed away on September 24th, 2022. He died peacefully with family by his side.
Jerry was one of our Heritage/Life Club Members, he joined our club in 1970 and was fully active in our club events until his passing.

In Memory of Mel Hicks
Son of Beverly and Jerry Hicks, passed away from a heart attack on March 8th, 2021

In Memory of Dana Holland

Sometime around December 3rd, 2021 we lost a member of our club and an icon to the off-road community.

Dana was 74 years young and started 4-wheeling as a young teenager. I met him over 25 years ago on the Fordyce trail and would have never been part of organized off roading if it was not for him.

In Memory of Richard Cisneros

Dick Cisneros a Life Member of our club passed away on the morning of Saturday Octoder 9 th, 2021.
He was surrounded by his family and passed peacefully. He had an aggressive form of cancer.

In Memory of Russ Hanson

On August 1st 2017 we lost a Life Member, Russ Hanson to Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).
He joined our Hi-landers club in 1984 and became an iconic member that was a friend and buddy to all. He will truly be missed by all.
